FREIGHT CAR NETWORK × DRONEFAST / TWO ROUTES OF THE SAME NETWORK

Does every parcel need the same kind of vehicle?

A parcel moves from the warehouse to a dispatch point. The network considers its characteristics: a ground vehicle, or a suitable drone route? Different vehicles connect through a clear process for verifying the handover.

Cargo Robot carries the journey of packages prepared by Ecommerce AI Bot beyond the delivery unit. An unmanned aerial vehicle named Kargo Car AI is being considered to pick up the packages from the cargo delivery point and take them to the next appropriate point. A common logistical arrangement is aimed at transporting heavier loads on land, suitable light packages with DronFast in the air. So the last step in the warehouse can become the first step of the network outside.

The initial concept routes parcels over 10 kg to Kargo Car AI and assesses those under 10 kg for DronFast. For parcels weighing exactly 10 kg, we propose the ground route. This is a product planning choice, rather than a statement about universal drone capacity or flight authorisation. Volume, contents, route and available vehicle capacity also matter. The aim is for the network to consider more context than weight alone.

The vehicle arriving at the delivery site and the delivery unit know each other through the authoritative digital age. The answer to the user's key idea in the product is that the right vehicle has access to the right package and the right delivery unit. When the access authorization is granted, it is also separately verified that the packet cycle is actually complete. If there is no space at a point, the order is cancelled or the match is uncertain, the delivery is not forced; the team is activated with the status record. The trust of a connected network is shown when you manage these exceptions.

GROUND + AIR / INITIAL ROUTING PROPOSAL

Which line does the package start on?

8 kg · Assessment of DronFast if applicable

This example shows the first distinction only by weight. Volume, contents, route and actual vehicle suitability are also assessed.

EVERYTHING STARTS WITH A QUESTION.

Could ground and air vehicles form one service by understanding each other at delivery points?

The autonomous movement of a vehicle is only part of the logistics experience. The capacity of the delivery point, the status of the package and the authority of the periodic field must be within the same plan. Cargo Robot seeks to reduce the gaps between storage, transport and receiver by making these points visible. New jobs that could emerge could also be shaped around network monitoring, point operations, and physical period experience.

THINK OF IT AS A SYSTEM.

Four parts.
One connected experience.

01

Identify the package and its needs

Weight, volume, nature of load and target point shall be assessed. The 10 kg threshold is the first proposed separation of the net; actual suitability is also examined.

02

Select the appropriate route

A ground route is proposed for parcels weighing 10 kg or more. Lighter parcels may be assessed for DronFast where suitable. Vehicle and delivery-point capacity complete the plan.

03

Hand over at an authorised point

Vehicle, delivery unit and package are matched to the same mission. Digital access and the completion of the physical era are kept visible in separate situations.

04

Improve by watching the network

Complete work, pending and transferred status to the team will be recorded. It's easy to see where the network needs more capacity or a different design.

POSSIBLE EVERYDAY SCENARIOS

Technology matters
when it touches lives.

Let’s look at the intended experience through everyday life.

01

A heavier package is ready .

I'll be waiting in the delivery unit for the package prepared for Kargo Car AI. The mission matches the vehicle and target division. The physical period completed at the authorized point appears to be a new state in the order flow.

02

Airline for light packages

The route and other characteristics of the package under 10 kg shall be assessed for DronFast conformity. If there are no suitable conditions, the package is not assigned to the drone only because it is light; the network indicates another transport option or evaluation of the team.

03

Delivery point is not ready

When the target compartment is full or the matching is unclear, the system shows the reason for waiting. The officer concerned may consider an alternative point or the next step. Package and record will stay together throughout the journey.

How to change your name / Cargo Robot

Today's experience,
What's tomorrow's business?

What tasks can the experience in this work accomplish with new tools?

The driving and delivery experience can become a coordination between land and air.

The Cargo Robot and Kargo Car AI vision envisages autonomous land vehicles carrying packages along with delivery points. 10 kg and above in the recommended internal direction are candidates for the DronFast assessment for the ground vehicle, if applicable, those under 10 kg. Conditions of carriage, legal and technical suitability and vehicle capacity shall be assessed together. The planning knowledge of the shipping worker, the delivery site experience of the courier and the registration discipline of the technician can be used in new assignments. As repeated status messages are automated, it's important to understand the authoritative digital revolution as access to a robot or delivery point, and to have human support for the task at hand.

Employee of shipment planning or distribution operations Ground and Air Mission Coordinator

It reviews together the weight of the consignor, the need for transportation and the current operating conditions; it transfers the work to the relevant expert where the guidance recommendation is missing. The black vehicle and the drone island allow the recordings to be tracked in the same language. The mapping and field communication experience expands with new tool knowledge, making it visible which information should be evaluated separately rather than making definite decisions over a single threshold.

Courier or delivery point employee Responsible for the robotic delivery experiment

It observes how the receiver understands the robot or the delivery point, informs the team of the differences between the delivery record and the actual situation. It connects to appropriate human support in situations where the authoritative digital era cannot be completed. The experience of address and customer communication combines with interface readability; it can extend from carrying a daily work package to allowing the recipient to reach the correct message in an understandable way.

Vehicle electronics or technical service personnel The Kargo Car AI Maintenance Technician

It tracks the status notices, maintenance history and non-service records of the vehicles under its jurisdiction with the necessary training. It transmits the team's observations to the expert by matching them to the relevant technical file. Traceability from the service discipline is expanded with knowledge of new vehicle systems; it is aimed at enabling the team to clearly see which vehicle is listed with which status record and find the person responsible for the pending work.

Where's the new business idea? Task coordination, point of delivery experience, fleet records, and training support for local distribution enterprises can be investigated. The first discovery should show which package makes sense to move under what conditions and where the recipient is seeking help. Opportunity can be assessed in a narrow pilot on the basis of a concrete coordination problem that the enterprise wants solved.

TASKS THAT CAN BE CONVERTED
  • Repeated route and delivery point matching
  • Collect tool and partition status from different records
  • Manually process standard period notifications
SUGGESTED NEW ROLES
  • Cargo AI Operations Monitor
  • Responsible for the Autonomous Delivery Point
  • Ground and Air Network Coordinator
  • Cargo Robot Care Specialist
  • Designer of the delivery experiment
SKILLS FOR TRANSITION
  • Interpreting network capacity and delivery events
  • Field coordination and authorization period
  • Robot maintenance records and exception solutions

10 kg is the recommended product routing threshold for this network; the actual vehicle capacity, route and transport conditions are also taken into account in the suitability assessment.

EVIDENCE ALONGSIDE THE VISION

Around the world today
how far have we come?

Starship describes its ground delivery robots and how recipients unlock them through an app. A 2024 trial by Yamato, Kyocera and Packcity documents a remotely supervised ground robot carrying code-access delivery lockers. These are precedents for authorised handover and ground transport; they do not show that Kargo Car AI’s own operation is ready.

THE DEVELOPMENT QUESTION

10 kg is a recommended guideline for this network. Package volume, contents, vehicle capacity, route and operating conditions are assessed together; lightness alone does not provide drone suitability. The completion of the physical delivery of the correct package with the verification of the digital authorization is also designed as two separate records.

A BIG VISION. A MEASURABLE FIRST STEP.

What could we
try first?

In a closed facility, you can start with two delivery points, a locked department store and a supervised transport scenario. Conditions such as correct packet/receiver matching, cancellation, full delivery point, and disconnection of the team period are studied in simulation.

A FEW MORE GOOD QUESTIONS

Questions worth asking.

Exactly 10kg package on which line?

The proposed routing rule assigns parcels weighing 10 kg or more to the ground route. This defines how parcels exactly at the threshold are handled; operational trials may lead to the rule being revised.

Does every package under 10 kg go with a drone?

Weight could be the first filter. The volume, contents, actual vehicle capacity, route and operating conditions must also be appropriate. This threshold is not a general aviation rule.

How are vehicles admitted to the delivery area?

It uses an authoritative digital age that combines vision, vehicle and delivery unit with mission. Registration of completion of physical surrender with access authorisation shall be verified separately.
