FutureCeng / MANIFESTOA NOTE FROM CENK
One failed attempt
is no reason to abandon
the future.
Sometimes success means an idea working the first time.
Sometimes it means returning to it with everything you have learned.
HUMAN + ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE / VISUAL CONCEPTA curiosity that starts with a vehicle assistant.
In 2017, we tested MottoMobil. The idea was that the needs of the vehicle would meet in one place. We didn't get the result we wanted. This experience remained part of the story, and it was the beginning of the questions we're reviewing today.
As we approach 2027, the means of production are changing. Together with AI, research, design and experimentation are becoming more accessible. I'm going back to the same curiosity this time with new tools and the lessons of the previous experiment.
The common ground of seemingly distant ideas.
A car assistant and a planetary robot may not seem to be the same story at first glance. Yet, both affect the relationship between man and his environment. One is trying to reduce everyday uncertainty, the other is trying to understand an environment we don't yet know.
The 19 projects of FutureCeng are not as mature. You can access the web platforms of MottoMobil and DronFast today. Other titles are visions to be explored and tested. We keep what we imagine in each, what parts of the world there are, and what we can try first.
Man is not outside this system.
When I look at AI, I don't just think about what can be done. I also care who makes the decisions, who acquires new skills, and how the resulting value is shared. The idea of a robotic economy involves the developer, the manufacturer, the owner of the robot, and the person doing the work.
We can't guarantee that new technologies will do better for everyone on their own. But we can choose to design systems where humans can learn, contribute, and understand decisions. That's the future I want to create.
Responsibility to think big.
Good intentions in areas like health, aviation, and brain interfaces are not enough to show that a system works safely. The progress of these projects requires expertise, real experimentation, and open boundaries. When you're telling the vision loudly, you have to tell which part is still a question.
It doesn't have to be all at once. First a working flow, a small prototype, or a well-designed research question. And then that experiment, listening to what he's saying. For me not to give up is not to keep repeating the same thing; it's to keep learning.
“The future is as much something we predict
as something we choose to work towards.”— CENK

Ideas here don't have to stay where they started. Some might merge, some might split, some might turn into a better question. The unchanging intention is to turn technology into a meaningful response in life.
